The Bookkeeper will provide accounting support for the property management team, and function as a key member of the management team, reporting to Senior General Manager, Retail Mall. This position will average around 28 hrs/week. Hourly Rate - $27.97 - $31.43 per hour What this job involves Area of Responsibility 1. Accounts Receivable Make collections calls Enter cash receipts Enter billing adjustments Perform tenant ledger reconciliations 2. Accounts Payable Enter invoices Ensure proper audit trail and supporting documentation 3. Lease Analysis Review leases and leasing activity and ensure accurate billing Review and/or calculate additional charges as applicable 4. Other Maintain sales information Collect sales reports Enter sales into accounting system Maintain vendor, sales, and other necessary files Assist the property accountant as needed Additional work related tasks assigned. To apply you need to have: Education/training High school diploma or GED Associate’s degree in accounting Years of relevant experience 2-3 years bookkeeping experience in a retail environment preferred Skills and knowledge Microsoft Office product knowledge, Excel and real estate accounting software preferred Physical work requirements and work conditions Sitting at the computer for long periods of time This position does not provide visa sponsorship. Estimated compensation for this position: 40,000.00 – 45,000.00 USD per year This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
