Job Description Northern Minnesota rural General Surgery position. You will join an established team with a great provider and nursing environment, multi-specialty cilnic with easy communication and consult. There are more than 20 local providers, medical center is spacious, critical access hospital and serves a rural population of 75,000. Over 30 specialty services offered. Compensation floor of $490,000 for the first two years of the employment contract, plus estimated potential to exceed compensation floor from personally performed wRVUs In addition, a $100,000 retention incentive to be paid if you remain a 1.0 FTE for 3 years (this will be subject to a contractual agreement specifying all details). Comprehensive benefits, paid malpractice insurance, 401K, CME reimbursment benefits, relocation allowance, and much more GI experience with competency in colonoscopies / scopes preferred. Level IV trauma center. Community is growing, offers great schools with small class sizes. Regional airport (flight to Minneapolis) and large university only one hour away.
