Position Overview: Specialty: Thoracic Surgery - Cardio Thoracic Surgery Start Date: January 2, 2024 End Date: Ongoing Shift Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Plus Call Allowed Holidays: Labor Day, New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Christmas Day, 4th of July, Christmas Eve (1/2 Day Commencing at Noon), Thanksgiving Day Practice Details: Practice Setting: Outpatient, Inpatient Inpatient and Outpatient Required: Yes Hospital/Surgery Center Privileges: Yes Admissions Required: Yes Patients Per Shift: 8-10 Rounding: Both Board Certification Required: Yes Fellowship: Required Minimum Board Certification: Eligible Qualifications and Requirements: To be considered for this exceptional opportunity, the ideal candidate must possess: Active WI license (IMLC considered, must note at submission) Active BLS Certification Ability to be the first surgical assist for c-sections Fellowship in Cardio Thoracic Surgery ACLS Certification Support Staff and Travel Details: Number of Support Staff: 1 MA, 3 PA/NPs, 1 Office Staff Supervision of Advance Practice Providers: Yes Call Details: Call Type: Beeper Call Response Time Required: 15 min.
