Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years cath lab experience scrubbing and monitoring. License: Valid state license preferred. Must apply for state license if not held. Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - On-call approximately every 4th - 5th weekend. - On-call approximately one day per week. - Experience in Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab. - Experience in Cardiac Stent Placement, Diagnostic Catheterizations, Hemodynamic monitoring, IABP Placement/Removal, and more. Description: Position available for a Cath Lab Tech. Work schedule is 7 AM to 5:30 PM for four days a week. The role requires experience in scrubbing and monitoring in the cath lab. First-timers with the minimum of 2 years of experience are accepted. Candidate may be required to float within scope to meet facility needs. Weekend on-call duties are part of the job requirements. Candidates are expected to have experience with cardiac catheterization procedures such as left heart catheterization, right heart catheterization, and various interventions. The position requires accurate monitoring, equipment setup, EKG lead placement, and maintaining a sterile field. Experience in recognizing life-threatening arrhythmias is essential. The facility is a short-term acute care setting, Magnet designated, and Level III Trauma capable. Charting will be done using specific electronic medical record systems. Candidate must meet background check requirements and have a supervisor reference available.
