Job Description:
The Registered Nurse (RN) is an integral part of the
interdisciplinary hospice team, providing holistic care to
terminally ill patients and their families. Responsibilities
include comprehensive assessments, care coordination, education,
supervision of delegated tasks, and participation in quality
improvement and team meetings. The RN manages the hospice plan of
care, ensures compliance with policies, and delivers primary
nursing services in inpatient and home settings. They participate
in on-call rotations, document care accurately, and advocate for
patients and families. Qualifications include active RN licensure,
at least two years of recent hospice or community health
experience, reliable transportation, and good communication skills.
Physical demands involve patient lifting, standing, walking, and
