is seeking a visionary Senior Director of Digital Product to
spearhead its digital transformation efforts. In this high-impact
role, you will define and drive the strategy for Optum's
next-generation digital products, bringing innovative,
consumer-grade experiences to the healthcare industry. Leveraging
your background at leading consumer technology companies (e.g.,
Amazon, Meta, Google), you will reimagine how millions of users
engage with pharmacy and medication related healthcare services
through cutting-edge technology. This leadership role is pivotal in
disruptive healthcare innovation - blending deep product expertise
with Optum's mission to make health care simpler, more
personalized, and more accessible. As Senior Director, Digital
Product, you will lead cross-functional teams in creating engaging,
AI-powered, data-driven solutions that transform the way people
manage their health, all while fostering a culture of innovation
and customer-centricity.You'll enjoy the flexibility to work

challenges.Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead Digital Product Strategy & Vision: Set the overarching
product vision and roadmap for the cross-Optum pharmacy
experiences, aligning initiatives with the company's digital
transformation goals and business objectives
- Innovative Product Development: Infuse innovation and consumer
centricity into end-to-end cross-enterprise experiences that
revolutionize how consumers access and manage their clinical
pharmacy and medication related care
- User Engagement & Personalization: Develop personalized,
seamless user experiences across web and mobile platforms. Utilize
modern UX/UI practices to maximize user engagement, retention, and
satisfaction, making Optum's digital offerings as intuitive and
compelling as the best consumer apps
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with
engineering, design, clinical, and business teams that span
multiple lines of business and companies to build and launch
innovative healthcare solutions
- Scaling & Growth: Scale digital products to reach broad
adoption. Focus on growth metrics, customer acquisition and
retention, and operational efficiency. Optimize platforms for
performance and reliability, ensuring they can support millions of
users and adapt to evolving needs
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Foster a data-driven culture
within the product organization. Implement analytics and feedback
loops to inform product decisions, refine features, and drive
continuous improvement based on user behavior and outcomes
- Stakeholder Influence: Act as a bridge between technology and
healthcare stakeholders. Influence and align executives, partners,
and teams across Optum and the broader UnitedHealth Group ecosystem
to embrace the Manage Rx vision. Communicate progress, insights,
and value propositions effectively to ensure buy-in and support for
key initiatives
- Leadership & Collaboration: Lead in fast-paced, agile, and
innovative environments. Hire, mentor, and manage high-performing
product teams. Indirectly lead cross-functional teams to
successfully execute, while bringing together design, engineering,
data science, marketing, and operations to achieve shared
goals
- Strategic Mindset: Infuse solid strategic thinking and
analytical skills while comfortably using data and user research to
drive decisions. Balance bold vision with practical execution, and
navigate the complexities of healthcare regulations and business

Qualifications:
- 10+ years of digital product experience or equivalent domain
experience
- 10+ years of experience working in the agile environment (e.g.
user stories, iterative development, scrum teams, sprints,
personas)
- 7+ years of healthcare and/or eCommerce digital experience
- 5+ years of experience creating and managing Excel spreadsheets
and executive-level Power Point presentations, as well as ability
to use additional Microsoft tools, such as Word, Outlook, and
Visio
- 5+ years of experience with product and experience tools such
as Miro, Figma, Aha!, etc. Preferred Qualifications:
- Product experience within a pharmacy vertical*All employees
working remotely will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's
Telecommuter Policy.The salary range for this role is $150,200 to
$288,500 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on
several factors including but not limited to local labor markets,
education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group
