Job Description:
Electrical Designer (hybrid) Becker, MN System One is currently
seeking an Electrical Designer (hybrid) on a 12 month contract
position located in Becker, MN. Electrical Designer
Responsibilities: The project involves converting a turbine
generator into a synchronous condenser. This process includes
updating the control systems from physical control panels to a
distributed control system (DCS). Will play a crucial role in this
transformation by working on electrical schematics and wiring
diagrams. Analyzing the current electrical schematics and wiring
diagrams. Convert existing image files of schematics into vector
format. Create new schematics for the updated control systems to
ensure they are compatible with the DCS. Assist in the design and
execution of the project, ensuring all electrical connections and
controls are accurately represented and functional. Electrical
Designer Requirements: 5-7 years of previous engineering or
electrical experience is preferred. Flexibility for less experience
if the candidate has a strong understanding of electrical
schematics and design. AutoCAD and MicroStation Strong
understanding of electrical concepts, schematics, wiring diagrams
and connection diagrams. Experience with motor control systems is
beneficial. Experience in industrial settings, particularly with
companies like 3M, GE or other utilities is valuable. Ability to
draft and design electrical schematics, including converting image
files to vector format and creating new designs for updated control
systems. Familiarity with PLC, TCS or DCS Control Systems.
Duration: 12 months Location: Becker, MN Pay Rate: $35-38.50/hr
This is a hybrid role which requires in office on Tuesday,
Wednesday and Thursday. M1 Ref: 191-Eng Amarillo (Precision)
