Job Description:
Be an Architect That Solves Real Problems If you're a licensed
architect with 7–10 years of experience and a passion for solving
building challenges, this is the kind of rate opportunity that can
change your career. We’re a collaborative, growing firm that’s
trusted to uncover the why behind building failures, and then
design the how to fix them. From historical preservation, to
forensic evaluations to creative restoration design, every project
brings variety, technical rigor, and real-world impact. Total
Flexibility – No set hours. You have full autonomy to structure
your day with early, late, split shifts. Whatever works best for
you. Hybrid Schedule – Field work (~50%) and office work (~50%).
You're only asked to come into the office on Wednesdays. Get away
from the desk and computer. Job Security & Stability – We’ve never
laid off an employee. Not during the Great Recession. Not during
Covid. Strong Compensation – Base salary of $100K–$120K. Bonuses
are also awarded based on performance. Great Culture – Happy hours,
fishing trips, holiday parties, March Madness brackets, and fantasy
football all help make this a fun, supportive environment.
Professional Growth – Learn from other licensed architects, attend
lunch-and-learns, and get full support for licensure and continuing
education. What You Bring: Licensed Architect in the state of
Minnesota. 7–10 years of architectural experience, ideally
including some client-facing and construction-phase
responsibilities. A desire to be in the field about half of the
time, learning hands-on and seeing your solutions come to life. An
interest in restoration, forensics, and problem-solving. It’s okay
even if you’ve never worked in that space before. Writing skills
for preparing detailed reports. Curiosity, independence, and a
collaborative mindset. What You’ll Gain: True work-life balance
with unmatched scheduling flexibility. A secure role in a stable
and financially sound company. Exposure to a wide variety of
building types and real-world problems, where no two projects are
the same. A career shift into a high-paying architecture niche with
zero prior experience required. An opportunity to do meaningful
work with visible, tangible results. Apply now and discover a
career path that’s just as rewarding as it is resilient!
