Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in
Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. A full-time Special Education Teacher position is
available for the remainder of the current school year at a middle
school located in Burnsville, NC. This contract role provides an
opportunity to work with a middle school caseload, supporting
students with diverse learning needs in an inclusive educational
environment. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement
individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each students
unique needs Collaborate with general education teachers, support
staff, and families to provide comprehensive support for students
Monitor and document student progress, adjusting instruction as
necessary Maintain a positive and safe classroom atmosphere
conducive to learning and personal growth Ensure compliance with
state and federal special education regulations and standards
Qualifications and Experience: Active EC (Exceptional Children)
Teaching license is required Experience working with middle
school-aged students in a special education setting Strong
communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a
multidisciplinary team Commitment to fostering an inclusive and
supportive learning environment Knowledge of current special
education best practices and intervention strategies Location:
