Job Description:
Safelite is seeking a dedicated Auto Glass Repair Specialist to
join our team of experts in providing top-notch auto glass repair
services. As a leader in the industry, Safelite utilizes
cutting-edge techniques and emphasizes safety and reliability in
all we do. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a
variety of vehicles, applying your skills in glass repair to ensure
the safety and satisfaction of our customers. This position offers
both mobile and in-shop solutions, requiring flexibility and
exceptional customer service skills. Assess damage and perform
repairs on automotive glass. Ensure all installations and repairs
meet or exceed Safelite's safety and quality standards. Manage
inventory of supplies and tools required for jobs. Work closely
with customers to explain repair processes and answer any
questions. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, complying
with company safety policies and regulations. Process work orders
and document services provided and time taken. Collaborate with a
team of technicians and support staff to streamline operations.
Proficiency in various auto glass repair tools and kits Strong
understanding of vehicle glass installation and repair techniques
Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to
handle physical workload and lift up to 50 pounds Attention to
detail and problem-solving skills Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid driver’s
license Auto Glass Certification (e.g., Auto Glass Safety Council™
Certified Technician) preferred
